Hand Surgery

Injuries to the upper limbs, wrist, hand, and elbow, present a highly complex trauma and require high-precision surgery to restore quality of life. The most common surgical techniques are wrist arthroscopy and hand microsurgery.

What is Hand Surgery

Hand surgery, such as reconstructive surgery, resolves a multitude of hand problems and pathologies: traumatic tendon or bone injuries, degenerative diseases such as osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, nerve compressions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, palmar fascia retractions (Dupuytren's disease), or hand tumors.

Reconstructive microsurgery not only allows for immediate reimplantation of an amputated limb after an accident, but also enables the transfer of toes to the hand to restore function or aesthetics after partial or complete amputations of fingers that have not been urgently reimplanted.
